The Ghostfaces Brotherband book 6
In my book the conclusion was pretty intense. The brotherband and the natives in the land that they were stranded on came together and built up defenses around their small village. The put up a wall and built a number of large crossbows that could fire large bolts at oncoming attackers. They were all ready to defend against the Ghostfaces, who were people that pillaged and destroyed their land. It came down to a battle and a number of strategic maneuvers to end the fighting. I think that the problem was resolved in a satisfactory way. All of the building up to this fight to survive was really entertaining. The outcome of the battle was one that made sense and I was content with it. I would definitely recommend this book to someone, sure they would have to read the first five books before this one, but it's worth it. They are action filled and entertaining books that I have enjoyed for a while now.

Making Connections "Crazy Dangerous"
Crazy Dangerous is a book that I recently started and is written in first person, but I'm far enough in to notice some of the themes. One main thing that keeps coming up is to find courage. In the book I'm reading it's about a boy named Sam who is sixteen and is a preacher's kid that wants to fit in. He was bullied a lot, but one day he stood up the the three guys who were bulling him. The fact that he did that impressed one of them named Jeff. He ended up asking if Sam wanted to join their little gang. Sam, without thinking right, agreed. He ended up a rough crowd and did some things he regretted. One day he saw something in his dad's room. "DO RIGHT FEAR NOTHING. Was written on a little statue on the desk." (67) This gave Sam some of the courage to stand up to his oppressors who he had befriended for a short time. Before Sam went and talked to the guys he was very contradicted in his head. "If you are afraid, how are you suppose to turn it off?" (68) That was one of the things that was going through his head before he made the right decision.

Book
So far the book has been pretty good. It's a continuation of a story of a group of men from a made up land called Skandia. They were taken away by a large storm while they were at sea and ended up in a new land that they knew nothing about. They quickly set up camp and prepared to defend themselves if there were any other people living there. The went several days with no sign of anyone. They continued to wait because there was no where for them to go. The winds at sea were to great to fight against. Just recently they ran into a few natives and that is where I am. I like how the author draws the story out, but no to much. He keeps it intriguing and I like his style of writing.
